I still can hardly believe Stay Wild Love is a reality. It seems almost unreal that I get to share not only my heart behind serving others, but also that I get to serve creative woman inside their businesses who have Jesus at the center of everything they do.
I remember it like it was yesterday. I had come home on a brisk October day with nothing but anxiety filling my heart and tears in my eyes. It was yet another stressful day at the office. At that time, I was an event manager for a $1M charity ball. I know that life may seem glamorous and all Hallmark-y, but love let me tell you. It was slowly sucking the life right out of me. I can remember anxiously checking my emails at all hours of the night with the weight of the world on my shoulders feeling like there had to be something more to life. I was caught in between two worlds: the stress of work and the stress of life. And I couldn’t seem to serve either well.
The Heart Behind Serving Others
You see, during this stress of my two worlds, we were trying to grow our family. I couldn’t understand why it wasn’t happening, but it slowly crushed my soul. The stress of a job and the constant chime from family and friends of when are you going to have kids turned me into full on zombie mode in both work and life.
It took me a very long time to understand that God had other plans for us.
I began to feel my desires of wanting to start my own virtual event and brand assistant business continue to grow. With being apart of the creative world, I saw so many friends going through exactly what I was feeling. I saw the struggle of finding balance between work and life. And the loss of freedom from their businesses. But what if, God needed me to step in and serve these incredibly talented women and remind them they aren’t alone in this journey? That they don’t have to do it all alone? And that together, we could climb the mountains?
So I surrendered. I left my corporate job. Found peace in His timing of starting a family. And truly slowed down to just be.
And guess what?
God provided. A business was born. Incredible women entered my life. And I finally realized it was through those hard days when He was doing the most work within me.
The Beautiful-Chaos That Is Life
Stay Wild Love is my way of sharing this beautiful chaos that is life while serving creative entrepreneurs in their growing businesses.
I get it. Entrepreneurship is wild–a wild beautiful journey. But love, it doesn’t have to be so hard.
In my years of being a part of the creative industry, I saw the fire go out in some of the most talented entrepreneurs because they were simply burnt out.
They had ALL the ideas, but no way of possibly wearing another hat.
The busy seasons got long and the good seasons got short.
If this all sounds too familiar, I want you to know you aren’t alone in this wild journey and to keep going because it’s in the process of hard seasons where the magic happens. You are changing lives. I hope you stay wild. And believe in yourself. Because you are so talented. You are so loved. And your unique talent is so needed. The beauty is in the journey.
