My heart is full of so many emotions as I get to introduce you to this business I’ve been building behind-the-scenes over the past few months. Within every little detail of Stay Wild Love is a piece of my heart and soul. And with the official website launch, I finally get to share all of the God-given desires I’ve been chasing.

Let me start off by saying that jumping head first into the entrepreneur world is a beautiful-chaotic journey. One that I wouldn’t trade for the world. The community of creative entrepreneurs who helped make this website launch possible makes my heart do happy dances over and over. So naturally, I need to share the incredible women who made the launch of Stay Wild Love possible.

What Goes Into A Website Launch

If I’m being completely honest, I had a dream of starting my own virtual event and brand assistant business for the past two years. But, I let fear hold me back. I was scared of failure. Afraid of letting my husband down. And I didn’t think I could financially make this dream a reality. But as with every God-given desire, the fire within me only grew.

Welcome, to Stay Wild Love.

The website launch process definitely wasn’t easy. It’s not like I put up that white surrender flag and all the answers came to me. I actually tried to build my own site back in January only to find myself filled with an overwhelming amount of anxiety and tears.

At that moment, I almost threw in the towel. The fact I couldn’t build a website almost became my defining moment as a dreamer vs. business owner.

Create With A Purpose

So I prayed. A lot. And by nothing other than God’s grace, I came across Megan Martin and this new adventure she was following within her own business – to build premium Showit templates for the color-loving, multi-faceted creative. (me, me, me!)

Through my first conversation with Megan, I knew she was the perfect fit.

“Tell me your overall goal for your website?” she asked.

“What do you want people to feel when they land on your page?”

Tongue-tied I thought about all the things I want this business to become. But I wasn’t sure how to make that a reality. Enter Megan and her genius.

She was able to create a colorful space for me to share my heart. A place where creatives can meet me right where they are at in their creative journey. And where I can be a doorway to God’s love and grace.

Building A Strong Brand Visual

The visual behind this website design all started from a little dream to share this beautiful chaos that is life while serving creative entrepreneurs in their growing businesses.

Thanks to a very talented friend, Allie Schultz of Windswept Design Studios, my million-miles-an-hour-this-is-what-I’m-dreaming-of-creating-word-vomit became a physical representation of my heart.

The process of designing my logo with Allie was one of the most incredible experiences of this entire website launch. When I say the creative world is full of so many talented woman, it’s no joke. I still am in disbelief of every single watercolor detail Allie so eloquently painted to make my heart a visual brand.

But to truly bring together Megan’s website design and Allie’s brand visuals, we needed strong brand photos to tie everything together. Love, this brand is more than a virtual assistant business. It’s a place I want other creatives to join me in sharing pieces of their own beautiful-chaotic journey all while growing a business. But most importantly, an encouraging reminder for women to keep going because it’s in the hard seasons where the magic happens.

And once again, God blessed me with incredibly talented friends like Kim Kedinger and Liz Jirshele to guide me through the brand photoshoot process.

After Allie completed my brand visuals and Liz and Kim captured every laugh line on my face it was time to bring it all together. Let me tell you. Jumping into business is scary! It’s one thing to say you are going to do it, but when you take action that’s when you realize there is more to running a business than creating a website and hitting publish.

Now let’s talk about marketing a website launch.

Often times, I think we let what we see others doing shape what we think we NEED to do for our own business. And as I navigated the weeks leading into this website launch, I had to remind myself of my purpose. Why I started Stay Wild Love. Who God needs me to serve. And that in order to serve my clients well, I can’t try to shout to the masses.

Enter the gifted marketing strategist, Samantha Royer. I met Samantha back in January and from our first encounter knew God placed her in my life for a reason. As I began to feel the overwhelm of all the things I thought I needed to do to market this new business, Samantha showed me nothing but grace. She reminded me the focus areas to put my energy in and built a checklist of items for me to keep my head down and follow.

It Takes A Community Of Women To Change The World

You see, to make this website launch a reality it took more than me and my own dreams. It took a community of incredibly talented women to make this come to life.

I think as creative entrepreneurs, we often look at what others are doing and feel like a failure because we aren’t there yet. We think she has it all together when in reality, she may have had a village help her make her dreams a reality.

The #1 thing I learned throughout my website launch is how important it is to open the fists in your business. That together, we take larger steps forward than trying to do it alone.
